The Nuances of War from a Dharmic Lense | Swami Revatikaanta
War is a complex and emotionally charged subject, often seen through various lenses. The Bhagavad Gita offers a unique perspective, highlighting the emotional distortions that cloud our judgment. It emphasizes the clarity to see things without bias, stemming from the nature of the self.
In the discourse on war, it questions the tendency to take sides and the authority that decides who is right or wrong, urging us to consider our guiding principles. Different religions propose varying values, yet the Gita underscores the importance of dharma. Ahimsa, or non-violence, is crucial, advocating for minimal harm.
Dharma, the natural order sustaining the universe, is so fundamental that Krishna incarnates to uphold it. The intentions behind engaging in war are scrutinized, encouraging us to prioritize universal human well-being and avoid sectarianism. This perspective calls for a deeper understanding of the motivations and principles that drive us, ultimately seeking a balance between righteousness and compassion.

Thank you Swami, very actual topic. Jai Gurudev!🙏❤️
All of Krishnas incarnations are clearly stated in the Vedic literatures. At any time there are several "incarnations" with several people convinced that they are avatars, but there is no shastric evidence. Being a miracle performer does not make you an avatar
Swami Revatikaanta, you are a very positive force in my life. From the first moment I heard you speak I could tell you would be the sort of Swami I could really vibe with and who spoke in a way I can respect. You and Paramahamsa Vishwananda are both have helped me in my journey to become (or realize myself to be or whatever terminology you'd prefer) the best friend Lord Krishna could ask for. My spiritual life as of the past almost two years has been incredible thanks to Lord Krishna entering it. If you are interested I did make a video about the experience itself. Also I have been working on a sort of chapter by chapter book review of "I Am That" which has also been incredible in helping validate and direct me. Honestly theres an ever growing percentage of me that wants to join the organization and dedicate my life to the cause. This video is now another reason why i should join.
Who talks about everything and explains everything talks about nothing really. This is basically just an idealized dream uncoupled from reality, as if you could remove your brain and still exist or "think"
Please stand infront of running train....reality will hit you harder than anything you know of. It's a great way to attain moksha without going through samsara.

This was an incredible episode. Really appreciate and learning from your podcast..especially for someone with Eastern heritage growing up in the West-you are fundamentally instrumental to unlearning the lies and misrepresentation sold about Sanatana Dharma for generations somewhat removed from India -thank you ever so grateful 🙏 you are helping to see ourselves with our own eyes..finally
Great analysis
Many poor and uneducated people are converting to christianity and already islam is growing by breeding very fast in India help preserve our religion😢
Guruji focus on converstion otherwise there will be no point, here in India missionaries are very active
Such an important conversation. Now more than ever. Thank you for addressing this issue with clarity and from a spiritual perspective.❤
❤🙏
It was a nice discussion Swami Revatikanta. But you haven't really grounded your claim that Sri Vishwananda is God / Avatar. Your miraculous experiences ground the belief that he is on a plane much higher than the average human being. But jumping from that to He is an Avatar of the primordial Supreme Personality of Godhead is too big a leap. And it is not a jump that is to be taken so lightly. Just because identifying an Avatar of Lord is hard, we can't open the doors to every siddha potentially being an avatar because that would be very blasphemous. Guru is as good as God scriptures say. So your heart revering him at that level is appropriate. But Guru is also distinct from God and that distinction should not be arbitrarily collapsed.
Just to add: You raise the question that - Krishna has unlimited avatars. All of them can't be described in the scriptures. Then how do we recognize an avatar. My response would be - If Krishna as an Avatar doesn't want to reveal Himself in scriptures, He will advent, perform his pastimes and leave. But without scriptural authority we can't claim anyone to be God. Scripture is our mother. And only our mother can tell us who our real father is.
great reminder
🙏🏼 Yes an amazing sharing 🙏🏼 Is it possible to contac Sitaram ? 🙏🏼
You are the golden Hart guru ji ❤
What kind of monk r you ?
So inspiring. Thank you both for sharing
बंदी छोड़ सतगुरु देव भगवान की जय हो
Wise words! Thanks 🌺🙏
So sad
I think that goswami would do better to not cut off so much the people he is conversing with.
If your guru is God, then at some point when you become the guru, do you also become God? Because that doesn't make sense, since God is eternally God, he never becomes God.
What does Guruji Swami Vishwananda Himself say? Does He say He's God or not God?
Does Vishwananda Swami sometimes put Tulasi leaves on his feet? I saw a picture one time.
just listen to prabhupada and everything will fall into place, listening to these new acharyas nothing will be clear to you, only the confusion will increase
Thank you prabhus, another great sharing. Jai Gurudev
😊
❤

This conversation is excellent. Honestly it has shown me that I ought to pursue the spiritual path more seriously. Almost a few years ago I had my own experience with the universe and another one with Krishna directly that changed my life. Now since then I have been searching for the next step. Perhaps Bhakti is the path for me.
Jai Gurudev 💐🙏❤️
